Background of Program

The Master of Health Science at University College MAIWP International (UCMI) is a research-based postgraduate programme designed to equip graduates with advanced knowledge, critical thinking, and specialized research skills in the field of health sciences. Aligned with UCMI’s vision of producing excellent global graduates, the programme emphasizes holistic development—intellectual, professional, ethical, and spiritual—grounded in Islamic values.

Admission Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree of biomedical science or any health-related biological Sciences programme 

    • Minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 2.75 or equivalent

    OR


    A Bachelor’s degree of biomedical science or any health-related biological Sciences programme with minimum Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) 2.75 below 

    • can be accepted subject to a minimum of five years working experience in relevant field

    OR


    For international students

    • a minimum International English Language Test (IELTS) score of 5.5. or its equivalent (e.g., Teaching of English Language as Foreign Language (TOEFL)-525, TOEFL Computer Test 196, TOEFL Internet Test 69-70 OR MUET Band 4) is required.
