(R2/726/4/0009) (01/27) (MQA/FA0329)

Background of Program

Physiotherapy is a career that focuses on the treatment and rehabilitation of patients with physical injury or disability.
The treatment offered by Physiotherapist involved wide range cases such as Geriatrics, Sports related, Paediatrics, Neurology and Cardiopulmonary.
The students also will be exposed to the clinical real life experience in treating real patients during the Clinical Posting period.

Upon completing the Diploma study, students have the autonomy to choose in following their path, whether to further their study to the next level (Bachelor Degree) or to contribute to the society (working).

Physiotherapy is such a profession which reflects service to mankind not only by modalities but also by the “hands that heal.”

The Diploma in Physiotherapy started in January 2012, with just 26 students, and 3 staff members. With continuous growth and enhancement, as of 2025, we have received more and more numbers of students to enroll in this program.

The Program has continually reviewed objectives and revived strategies keeping in mind the mission and vision of parent institutions in improving the standards of teaching-learning methodologies for students.
