This revised program commenced with the September 2022 intake and features an enhanced curriculum aligned with current healthcare demands.<br \/>Offered by UCMI, the Diploma Medical and Health Sciences Program is designed to prepare graduates for diverse career opportunities within the healthcare and human services sectors. Graduates may pursue roles as Registered Assistant Medical Officers or generalist practitioners in both private and public healthcare organizations, leading to initial registration under the Malaysia Medical Assistant Board (MAB).<\/p><p>The curriculum adopts a holistic approach to healthcare, focusing on key domains such as promotive, preventive, curative, rehabilitative, and palliative care. It integrates multidisciplinary knowledge from medical and health sciences, encompassing the humanities, biological sciences, and social sciences, alongside rigorous theoretical instruction and clinical training essential for competent professional practice.<\/p><p>Upon completion of the program, students must sit for a qualifying examination to register with the Malaysia Medical Assistant Board under Act 180 (Akta Pembantu Perubatan). Graduates who successfully register will receive the MAB Certificate of Registration and are required to renew their Annual Practicing Certificate (ARC) to maintain active medical
