The Faculty of Education (FOE) was officially established on 1 October 2025 following the restructuring of the former Faculty of Education, Social Sciences and Foundation (FESS). This restructuring resulted in the establishment of two independent academic entities: the Faculty of Education (FOE) and the Centre for General Studies and Languages (Pusat Pengajian Umum dan Bahasa, PPUB), each operating under its own academic and administrative structure.

The establishment of FOE reflects MAIWP International University’s commitment to advancing teacher education, educational research, and academic excellence in response to the evolving needs of both national and global education landscapes.

The Faculty offers a comprehensive range of academic programmes at the Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree, and Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) levels. These programmes are designed to produce competent, innovative, and ethical educators, educational leaders, and professionals equipped with the knowledge, skills, and values required to excel in the education sector and related industries.

Currently, the Faculty comprises the Department of Early Childhood Education and Children Industry, which is dedicated to preparing future educators and highly skilled professionals to meet the growing demands of the early childhood education and children’s services industries. The department integrates academic excellence with practical experience, ensuring graduates are industry-ready and capable of contributing meaningfully to the development of quality education and child wellbeing.
