Dean’s Message

Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh and warm greetings,

Welcome to the Faculty of Nursing.

It is my great honour to welcome you to a faculty guided by our motto:

“Nurturing the Ummah – Knowledge, Wisdom, Excellence.”

Allah SWT reminds us in the Holy Qur’an:

وَقُل رَّبِّ زِدْنِي عِلْمًا
“And say, ‘My Lord, increase me in knowledge.’”
(Surah Taha 20:114)

This divine supplication reflects our core commitment — that knowledge is sacred, transformative, and a responsibility. As we pursue academic and professional excellence, we do so with humility and continuous dedication to seeking beneficial knowledge.

Our vision is to be a global leader in shaping an excellent generation, and our mission is to develop the ummah based on Islamic principles towards producing holistic graduates. We believe that nursing is not merely a profession, but an amanah — a trust that requires competence, compassion, and accountability to both humanity and the Creator.

Allah SWT also says:

مَنْ أَحْيَاهَا فَكَأَنَّمَا أَحْيَا النَّاسَ جَمِيعًا
“Whoever saves one life – it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.”
(Surah Al-Ma’idah 5:32)

This powerful verse embodies the noble essence of nursing. Every act of care, every intervention, and every moment of compassion carries profound value in the sight of Allah SWT.

Diploma in Nursing

Our Diploma programme builds strong clinical foundations and professional discipline. Students are trained according to standards set by the Malaysian Nursing Board, ensuring safe, ethical, and compassionate practice. We nurture graduates who serve communities with sincerity, empathy, and integrity.

Bachelor of Nursing

At the undergraduate level, we cultivate critical thinkers and future leaders in healthcare. Accredited by the Malaysian Qualifications Agency, our programme integrates evidence-based practice, research awareness, leadership skills, and Islamic ethical values — preparing graduates to meet global healthcare challenges with confidence.

Master’s Programme

Our Master’s programmes strengthen advanced clinical expertise and leadership. Postgraduate students are inspired to become change agents who elevate healthcare standards while remaining grounded in wisdom and moral responsibility.

Doctor of Philosophy (PhD)

At the doctoral level, we foster scholars who contribute impactful research to nursing science and community well-being. Our PhD candidates lead with intellectual excellence, spiritual consciousness, and a commitment to uplifting the ummah at national and international levels.

Across all levels, our holistic education integrates:
